A short synopsis of this is that the characters from .Hack//SIGN and the .Hack games get together and have a dance party.

It's nifty to see the anime forms of the characters from the game, and their interaction with similar-looking but different characters from SIGN. But unless you have already seen SIGN and/or played the games, there's not much in here for you.

Actually, there's not much in here period, it's a reunion without much plot or character development.
