TAB: Tom's Anime Blog

Well, just got finished watching episode 3 of This Ugly and Beautiful World, which introduced two new characters, Akari and Kwan.

I'm not sure what to make of this series, yet, as it's all been introduction of characters. I'm not even really sure what type of series this is. So far, in the series, we've had the alien girls appear, we've had one fight against alien monsters, we've had the government (sorta) show up...

But I have no idea if any of that is going to be important.

This show might be the most laid-back GAINAX series I've seen to date, at least in terms of things happening. Still, I want to see where it goes.
