Midori no Hibi #3

Another week, another episode of Midori no Hibi. Seiji's biker-gang-leader sister comes to town, and forces Seiji to take her gang to a hot spring. There, she tells Midori a bit about Seiji's past, while Seiji is busy drowning in the hot spring.

Like most of the new spring series, MnH is still in an exposition phase, so there isn't really any conflict in the story, or at least nothing that doesn't get resolved after a few minutes. Just something to point out.

Animation-wise, the only complaint I had was that Midori seems to change size between scenes. OTOH, I love the way she can drag Seiji around, even when it doesn't make any sense physically.

This and Ashiteruze Baby are the two series this season for which I've read the manga before watching the anime. So it'll be interesting to see how that affects what I think of the series... I think it's too early to say one way or the other.

I find myself looking forward to the Monday debuts of the anime that aired last week in Japan.
