TAB: Tom's Anime Blog

This is a two episode OVA series, set as a flashback to the middle of the Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar series, in which the the schoolkids put on a play. The various season fairies get involved and put on their own little play, and also help out (and/or make pains of themselves).

The thing about the various TSFS stuff is how interesting the stories manage to be despite the trival nature of what occurs in them. The world does not end. There are magic faries, but they can only control weather, and nobodies lives are placed in any sort of magical jeopardy. Yet the stories still manage to be strangely compelling.

How you percieve these specials depends exactly on what you thought of the regular series. In my case, I liked TSFS, so I'll call this a good special. There's no point in watching it before the TV series, however, and it sort of spoils the ending.
